Dnes v noci přišlo na Steam do Early Accessu nové RTSko, které vzniklo z base defense módu, původně vytvořeného pro Warcraft III.
Rise of Legions je RTSko založené na rychlé, intenzivní akci v soubojích jeden na jednoho, kde se snažíte zničit hrad soupeře dříve, než padne ten váš. Hra je vytvořená z oblíbeného módu, který původně vznikl pro Warcraft III – Castle Fight. Stejně jako mód i tato hra je zdarma.
Rise of Legions si můžete zdarma zahrát na Steamu v Early Accessu.
Ve hře budete sbírat kartičky, ze kterých si postupně vytvoříte silnou armádu podle vlastní chutí. S tou pak můžete vyrazit do online hraní 1v1 nebo PvE, kde vás čekají počítačem ovládání bossové. Nechybí slabší jednotky, které přidáte do armády na počet, ani silní jedinci, které můžete do boje povolat kdykoliv.
Ve hře se zatím nenachází mnoho herních a soubojových mechanik, které budou vývojáři postupně přidávat. Sami varovali, že hra může působit ze začátku nudně, ale předeslali, že budou hodně zajímavých prvků postupně přidávat. Koneckonců, zatím nám nabídli jen Early Access a tak se to dá předpokládat. Už nyní ale ve hře funguje nákup nových kartiček, jak za herní, tak za reálnou měnu. Se stavbou armády tak nebudete mít problém.
V průběhu Early Accessu plánují vývojáři přidat do hry také 2v2 souboje a hodnocené západy. Ty budou rozdělené do několika stupňů (tiers), jako jsme zvyklí například z Overwatche nebo LoLka.
